From August 1, 2022, the former Rheumatology Department of the Clinical Centre of the University of Debrecen, Kenézy Gyula Campus, as part of the integrated Rheumatology Clinic, treats and cares for people with locomotor diseases living in Hajdú-Bihar County in the framework of inpatient and outpatient care.
We also consider educational activities aimed at improving the quality of life of people suffering from chronic diseases and preventing further deterioration (educational exercise, lifestyle) as our important task. We attach great importance to the training and education of our future doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and massage therapists.
In our department, there is on-call activity beyond working hours, there are no patient admissions during on-call hours.
Our inpatient unit has 30 beds. Patients requiring hospital care are received by appointment and with referrals from the rheumatological specialty practices of the region (Debrecen, Berettyóújfalu, Balmazújváros, Hajdúböszörmény, Hajdúnánás, Hajdúszoboszló, Létavértes, Püspökladány, Polgár). The division provides care in wards with 2-5 beds.
