Visiting ban and mandatory use of masks in the Clinical Centre
Wearing masks is mandatory on all three campuses of the Clinical Center, Nagyerdei Campus, Kenézy Gyula Campus (valid from 26 October) and Gróf Tisza István Campus in Berettyóújfalu (valid from 18 November).
According to the regulation, all healthcare workers, medical students, patients and visitors must wear masks that entirely cover their nose and mouth in patient care spaces.
However, wearing a mask is not mandatory in the ward for patients in a medical institution, for minors under the age of six, as well as for people with mental or psychosocial disabilities. Furthermore, to ensure barrier-free communication, the hearing-impaired patient, the person communicating with him/her or the person helping him/her communicate, is exempt from the obligation to wear a mask during the conversation.
In addition to the mandatory mask-wearing, THERE IS CURRENTLY A COMPLETE VISITING BAN ON ALL CAMPUSES OF THE CLINICAL CENTRE:
Due to the increasing number of fluelike illnesses and to protect inpatients and workers, the Hajdú-Bihar County Government Office ordered a complete visiting ban at the Nagyerdei Campus of the Clinical Centre, the Kenézy Gyula Campus and the Count Tisza István Campus in Berettyóújfalu from 8 February as an epidemiological preventive measure.
The management of the University of Debrecen and the Clinical Center asks for the cooperation and patience of patients and relatives.
