Introduction - Dietetics Group

Dietetics, as an applied nutritional science, analyses the metabolic processes triggered by diseases and the patient and investigates and summarizes the key principles and factors of dietetics.

Dietitian: an officially recognized expert in the field of nutritional science and dietetics who has a higher education degree and who applies his/her nutritional science knowledge to contribute to the nutrition and education of healthy and sick people. The dietitians of the Dietetics Group work at the various units as part of the healthcare team.

The task of the Dietetics Group is to ensure the complete dietetic care of inpatients of the institution: overseeing the management of their meals, medical feeding, and offering professional dietetic advising. During our work we closely cooperate with the Food Services Group and with the healthcare workers and physicians of the various inpatient departments. If requested, we provide professional consultancy services at the professional events, health days and open days organized by the hospital.
