Dear Visitors!
The Clinical Centre provides the high quality implementation of patient care in University of Debrecen.
After the Kenézy Gyula University Hospital was ceased to exist in January 2021 and integrated into the Clinical Centre, the institution undergone significant organizational and structural transformation and development. As one of Hungary’s greatest healthcare providers, we perform diagnostic, patient care and related education and research activities on two campuses (Campus Nagyerdei and Campus Kenézy Gyula), encompassing each level of progressivity.
In the Clinical Centre of University of Debrecen more than 6000 health care workers, including 1544 doctors and 4073 health care professionals take care of patients. The Centre provides patient care on 2,700 beds, in 346 outpatient clinics, 35 care facilities, nearly 40 dental services and 60 diagnostics units. The multi-faceted nature of patient care is well illustrated by the fact that in terms of inpatient care specialized care is provided in nearly 61, while in terms of outpatient care and diagnostic services, in close to 91 professions.
In parallel with the development of medicine, the aim of the Clinical Centre is to continuously expand the scope of its activities, within this, it gives priority to high-quality patient information. A so-called electronic health service, the Virtual Ambulance was established. With the help of it the face-to-face contact is provided. Our unique healthcare mobile application, UD Mediversity, helps you find your way around the services of the Clinical Centre quickly and easily.
In the future we wish to build on and continue the dynamic development seen in recent years, giving further impetus to increasing the standard of patient care.
Thank you for visiting our website. On behalf of the Clinical Centre, allow me to extend my welcome to each and everyone of you:
Prof. Dr. Szabó Zoltán
