PET/CT diagnostics

Informations

We accept patients for our PET-CT diagnostics examinations after approving the central waiting list and by booking an appointment (https://petct.neak.gov.hu/).

PET-CT diagnostics provide fast, accurate and safe examinations for patients who have tumors, cardiac diseases, central nervous system and inflammatory diseases. During the PET-CT diagnostics examination, patients receive a radiolabeled material in the form of an intravenous injection. The distribution of this tracer within the body is detected by using a PET camera. This is time consuming and can take several hours.

Patients will be notified of the planned date of the examination by e-mail or telephone. You are requested to come at the exact time as discussed by e-mail or telephone and follow the instructions given by our colleague.
