Internal Medicine Ward Block C - Admission of acute care patients | CLINICAL CENTRE

This unit accepts acute care patients from the catchment area during the day and during duty hours who come via the Emergency Clinic and patients with autoimmune diseases under the Clinic’s care or new cases with a strong suspicion of an autoimmune disease upon prior notification.  The angiology ward admits patients with critical limb ischemia. As a regional centre the therapeutic apheresis centre provides treatment for acute neuro-immunological crisis conditions (myasthenia gravis, Guillan-Barre syndrome) and crisis conditions in systemic autoimmune diseases.
