The Pharmacy of the Kenézy Teaching Hospital is responsible for the medicine supply of the divisions and the accessibility of professional information regarding medicines. These tasks are performed by means of the acquisition, analysis and storage of medicines, the establishment of an appropriate stock thereof and the distribution of medication to users. In addition to such drug management tasks, we also provide professional practical education: we take part in the professional practice of pharmacist students and trainee pharmacists, we participate in the theoretical and practical education of pharmacy assistant and specialist assistant students and we take part in their exams as well. Additionally, we contribute to pharmacological education in the nurse, specialist nurse, pediatric nurse and paramedic officer programs of medical vocational grammar schools.
