In the area of the Kenézy Gyula Campus, the General Internal Medicine department provides inpatient care on 64 active beds, in close cooperation with other departments in both diagnosis and treatment.
The task of the Rehabilitation and Nursing Department is twofold. On the one hand, the complex rehabilitation, follow-up care and provision of medical aids to patients whose mobility is limited due to their internal medicine disease and who do not need active internal medicine treatment or further examinations (Internal Medicine Rehabilitation), as well as the nursing and care of - mostly elderly - patients who are no longer in need of active hospital care they are in need, but their care at home is not resolved, they require constant supervision and a lot of help with their daily activities for self-care (Nursing Department).
