Electrophysiology - EEG

Informations


The electroencephalography (EEG) examines the electric activity detectable on the surface of the brain. Several electrodes are placed on the scalp that sense and from which the electric activity is recorded. The examination if painless, lasts about half an hour and is primarily performed if epilepsy is suspected.
