Our Ultrasound Diagnostics Laboratory is an accredited teaching laboratory of the Hungarian Obstetrics-Gynecology Ultrasound Society (MSZNUT). Our ward is equipped with 2 modern ultrasound devices that are used to examine pregnant women in one suite and patients with gynecological problems in the other.

Examinations are done by trained and OKJ (Accredited courses) qualified ultrasound assistants and specialists with MSZNUT qualifications B and C.

Examination methods:

• abdominal, vaginal and color Doppler ultrasound (examination of the circulation)

3-4D ultrasound examinations during the pregnancy:

• pregnancy diagnostics
• pregnancy screening examinations ( Weeks 11-13, 18-20, 30-32, 36-38 )
• pathological pregnancies, birth defect diagnostics and follow-up - fetal status
• examination of the circulation - examinations for counselling

Ultrasound examination of gynecological patients: 

• ultrasound examination of internal female genital organs and the pelvic floor ( incontinence )
• Examination of the circulation ( Doppler )
• ultrasound guided invasive interventions
