Pediatric diabetology specialist outpatient clinic cares for children with type 1 diabetes in the catchment area with regular check-ups and ward support. As a primary diabetes care center and insulin-pump center we are able to manage patients from outside the catchment area as well. Mapping overweight induced carbohydrate metabolism disorder and excluding insulin resistance is also performed within the framework of the specialist outpatient clinic with patients being admitted to the ward. Other carbohydrate metabolism related diseases are also assessed and cared for at the department.

The pediatric endocrinology outpatient clinic examines and treats patients with endocrine diseases. Our specialists map the background of growth delay, manage, control and follow the therapy of congenital thyroid diseases and adrenocortical diseases as well as diagnose acquired endocrine diseases (such as increased body hair growth, thyroid gland diseases, bleeding disorders, early or late onset of adolescence).

The specialist outpatient clinic facilitates control of ward examinations and organization of scheduled admissions.
