Patients will be admitted on the day specified in the outpatient medical record as “Admission date”. Patients should first present at the administration office of the unit, which can be found in the basement, then proceed to the nurse counter on the ground floor, where a short interview is done.
The last step of patient admission is a consultation with the ward physician consisting of a detailed interview, examination and patient information, after which the Informed Consent Form is signed to show that the patient agrees to undergo the scheduled intervention/treatment.
