Inpatient Care - Oro-Maxillofacial Surgery and Stomatology Clinic

Patient care provided at our inpatient department includes:

  • Preparation for surgery
  • Surgical intervention
  • Postoperative treatment (treatment after surgery)

Types of diseases:

  • Dental surgery (in conditions requiring dental surgery)
  • Oral tumors (tumor surgery)
  • Facial and craniofacial traumatology (maxillofacial trauma surgery)
  • Developmental abnormalities (dysgnathia surgery, cleft lip and cleft palate surgery)
  • Oral inflammatory diseases (abscesses, dental cysts)
  • Surgical treatment of salivary gland diseases (parotid, submandibular salivary glands)
  • Surgical treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders (temporomandibular joint surgery)

Other information:

Hospitalization: In the afternoon on the previous day of the patient admission or on the day of surgery as discussed with the doctor. Patients are requested to bring their list of medications.

Preparation: In case of local anesthesiology, patients are requested to have their breakfast at home and take their medications, too. In case of general anesthesia, patients are requested to eat or drink nothing from midnight, but they are allowed to take their medications with maximum one sip of water. They will be examined by an anesthesiologist 1-2 weeks before surgery.
