Radiology examinations are usually performed by appointment. However, we also examine patients with no appointment, for example, in the case of inpatient care, according to a previously set order if the patient number makes it possible (except for CT, angiography, contrast examinations, mammography, ultrasound and CDS), and provide radiology diagnostics in emergency cases.
Both in outpatient and inpatient care the following examinations are carried out by appointment: ultrasound diagnostics, clinical mammography, MR examinations, computer tomography, angiography, CDS, contrast radiology examinations, sampling procedures (if the schedule for that particular day is full, or other reasons make it necessary to schedule an appointment).
If the day’s schedule is not full, the patients with an appointment come first, then the extra time can be used for examining additional patients (not including the emergency cases) depending on the capacity of the staff, with the prior consent of the head physician of the division.
The staff at the reception of the Central Radiology Diagnostics unit answer the requests for appointments both over phone and in person, and will offer you the earliest possible free slot in the schedule.
If the suggested time is suitable for you, the scheduler will record the appointment in the scheduling booklet and the electronic list (patient scheduling list).
