Both our outpatients and inpatients have continuously risen in the past years. The number of outpatients went from 32,000/year to 50,000/year the ambulatory interventions from 77,000 to 80,000 and the credits earned in the outpatient consultations from 122 million to 128 million.
In 2003 the case number of outpatients was 4-5,000 the number of interventions was 40,000-60,000 and the ambulatory points was around 9-11 million. In 2007 the case number of outpatients was around 4000, the number of interventions was around 40 000, and the ambulatory points was around 9 million.
The number of all surgeries as compared to the numbers of previous years grew by 25%, and stabilized around 2,400-2,500 surgeries per year. The number of cataract surgeries has grown year by year, including the rate of phacoemulsification, which grew initially to 87.4, and then to 98.9 %.
