Admission of patients
During admission either the doctor at the ambulatory unit or the duty doctor will decide at which ward in which room the patient will be given a bed.
Assignment to the ward
After the medical examination patients are to arrive with their admission sheet at the appointed ward, or with the head nurse of the ward, who will report the patient’s arrival to the doctor in charge. The patient will meet the attending doctor at the ward, who will examine the patient in due course and take the necessary steps should additional examinations be needed.
As the unit is very busy there may be a need to wait before being assigned a bed in the ward, for which we ask for your understanding.
The following documents are needed for admission:
- Identity card
- Health insurance card (‘TAJ’ card),
- Reports of previous medical examinations (checkup reports, hospital discharge summaries)
- Referral
Alcoholic drinks on the premises of the clinic are strictly forbidden.
Smoking is forbidden on the premises according to the regulation of the Ministry of Health.
Patients from various wards may be transferred as pre-agreed by phone or in person with the necessary documents handed over.
If patients are delivered by the Ambulance service the specialist’s/duty doctor’s signature and stamp confirms that the patient has been admitted.
