Gynecological Endocrinology Specialist consultation: Menstrual disorders and amenorrhea may alert women of several endocrinological abnormalities. Sometimes either the hypophysis or the adrenal gland is dysfunctional, or some rare endocrine diseases or metabolism disorders can be found in the background. The consultation is done by recognized doctors who specialize in gynecology and endocrinology, who provide individualized checkups, therapy and care in cooperation with other specialist consultations and imaging services of the Clinical Centre.

Infertility Specialist Consultation: 10-15% of couples face the problem when despite regular intercourse they still fail to conceive. This specialist consultation provides a wide range of examinations and therapy, if needed. The most frequent causes of infertility include problems with ovulation (anovulation infertility), or disorders of sperm production (male infertility) and therefore other specialist consultations also need to be involved (endocrinology, andrology). A special kind of infertility is caused by recurrent pregnancy loss, which requires a broad range of examinations. The majority of infertility cases can be successfully treated by minimally invasive surgical interventions (endoscopic reproductive surgery), or intrauterine inseminations (IUI). Consultation is available to provide a wide range of appropriate specialists and diagnostic methods.

Endometriosis Specialist Consultation: Endometriosis is a gynecological disorder with a rising incidence rate, mostly caused by the increasing age at which women become pregnant for the first time. On the one hand it is accompanied by pains that make daily life a torture, on the other it is associated with hard to tackle infertility problems. Nowadays several options of medicinal and surgical treatment are available from which the best individualized treatment regimen can be chosen based on the appropriate diagnosis. Utilizing the imaging services of the Clinical Centre, gynecologists specializing in endometriosis provide individualized treatment options.
