Should patients appear for the surgery in the morning of the actual day of the surgery, they should take their usual medication due in the morning but other than that they must fast unless instructed differently in the outpatient clinic.
Intensive care units provide continuous care and in order to ensure appropriate rest for the patients visiting hours are restricted and limited to mostly 2x1 hour. For the exact schedule please contact the care units themselves. During visiting hours only 2 visitors per patient are allowed at the any one time. Children under 14 are not allowed to visit at the ICU. If it is epidemiologically indicated, ICU visiting may be partially or totally banned in which case we ask for your understanding.
