The patient registers at the Infectology specialized clinic during working hours and with a referral, in case his/her condition requires inpatient care, he/she is admitted to the Division of Adult Infectology.
Outside regular working hours (from 3 PM to 7:30 AM the next day), on weekends and holidays patients with referrals are received at the inpatient care unit exclusively with ward admission, except when the patient’s care requires another specialty and the patient is directed there.
Patient transfers are managed in accordance with the rules and regulations of the hospital and rules of patient pathways.
Bedside consultation takes place only during working hours.
