Main Reception

A central patient admission is operated in the block A of the Department of Internal Medicine. Personal appearance is by upon prior appointment. In case of an urgent patient, a doctor-doctor consultation by telephone is also needed.

The outpatient clinics can only be visited through the entrance door, located at the back of the building, on which the "Patient admission" sign can be found.

After admission patients get a ticket with their numbers for the specialist consultation. 

Patients are requested to bring their personal documents, previous medical documents, laboratory tests and the referral. 

Nephrology specialist consultation

Clinic times on workdays are by appointment only in the basement of the Organ Replacement Centre (Dialysis Station), and on Tuesdays and Fridays in the suites of the Internal Medical Clinic, Block A between 8 AM - 2 PM. New patients can request an appointment on weekdays 1 PM - 3 PM by telephoning 52-411-717 extension 55060. Specialist consultations by appointment only, but no referral is needed after the first time. Appointment are given for the day, but not for a definite timeslot. Service is provided on a first come first serve basis except for patients delivered by the Ambulance Service, or referred from other departments for a medical consultation, as these get prioritized. Patients are requested to bring with them for their specialist consultation their personal identification documents, test reports, especially reports on kidney function, (creatinine, GFR values), proteinuria parameters (urine protein/creatinine or albumin/creatinine ratios), urine sedimentation test results, and renal ultrasonography reports together with a full list of the medication they are presently taking (or had taken).
