- Acute diarrhea with or without fever not justified by an underlying disease
- Acute gastroenteritis, except when a potential Clostridium difficile infection is suspected as a cause, and in acute care the patient needs to be isolated at a unit with a gastroenterological profile and/or a unit of general internal medicine
- Febrile conditions
- Simple urinary infection with fever
- Liver diseases (except alcoholic liver diseases)
- Patients with suspected neuroinfections: Meningitis, Encephalitis without disorientation (except patients in need of intensive and subintensive care)
- Viral infections, Herpes virus infections
- Leptospirosis
- Erysipelas
- Tonsillitis, Tonsillopharyngitis
- Biliary diseases
- Acute dermatological and soft tissue infections
- Sepsis
- Community acquired acute pneumonia
- Autoimmune or immunological liver diseases
- Respiratory disorders, circulatory failure or associated diseases requiring further investigation and care
