Day-surgeries have gained more ground lately at the Debrecen Eye Clinic, covering primarily cataract surgeries and minor ambulatory interventions. A significant improvement may be expected in this respect as more eyelid surgeries and vitrectomies - now only provided for inpatients – are replaced by intravitreal injections and provided as part of outpatient care.
