Ophthalmology Clinic - Ward rounds

Head of Ward’s round: twice a day on each workday in the morning at 8 AM and the afternoon round is done by the attending doctor and the specialist. On Tuesdays and Thursdays the professor takes a round at the wards. Participants of the rounds are the Head of Ward, the doctors working at the ward, residents and nurses. During the ward round, the ward doctor reports to the Head of Ward. The doctor writes down the information on the fever chart and the nurses do the same. During the professor's round, the Head of Ward makes reports. 

Professor’s round: Once a week at 7:45 am each Wednesday the head of the clinic, head nurse and all participants of the ward rounds are present. The Head of Ward reports to the leader of the professor’s round.

Extra rounds: Extra rounds are made if necessary. Problematic cases are presented to the Head of Ward or the professor in the dark-room.
