Except for the general surgical and renal transplant specialist consultations all outpatient specialist consultations are referral-only services, that is, a referral from a GP or specialist addressed to this clinic is indispensable. Patients are registered and treated when they present all the needed documents, namely ID card, health insurance (TAJ) card, residence card and referral (where needed). We accept discharge summaries instead of referrals in the case of patients who come for a check-up examination for the discharge summary contains the date and time of the appointment.
Foreign nationals or self-pay clients need to register at the Self-Pay Medical Centre. They are screened for measles, and the result is entered into the system. They may register afterwards at reception. At reception their data are checked and their passport number is entered into the data base. They must return to the Self-Pay Medical Centre to settle their bills.
They can make an appointment for a specialist consultation by phone with the same people who take care of the admission procedure. At peak times in the early morning hours there may be many patients waiting, and as a result cannot always answer the phones.
Therefore, appointments should be made on weekdays (workdays only) using the phone numbers: (52) 255-044, or (52) 411-717 extension 55412 from 11 AM to 2:50 PM.
We do our best to keep appointment times. There are, however, patients in need of urgent care, or who may be delivered by the ambulance service, or employees of the clinic and who require prioritizing.
