The Outpatient Registration Office can be found in the basement, where a special “window” has been designated for this purpose. Our office staff is at your disposal during the outpatient consultation hours to help patients book an appointment or be examined immediately, when necessary. Patients should present there even if they have booked an appointment in advance.
We kindly ask our patients to bring their ID and Social Security Card whenever they visit our Department. Those presenting at the Clinical Centre of the University of Debrecen for the first time are also required to show their address card at the Registration Office.
Patients having an appointment are requested to present at the Registration window approximately 15 minutes prior to the appointment. Due to our tight schedule, patients presenting much earlier than their appointment cannot be attended to earlier than the appointment time.
Patients are kindly asked to observe patients’ rights while waiting for registration: when queuing up by the window, they should not go beyond the line marked on the floor to avoid disturbing the patients being asked their data for registration purposes.
After registration every patient will get a registration number and should watch the displays in the waiting hall and above the door of the examination rooms to see when they are the next to be attended to.
As we do not only provide specialist consultations but also acute care, we may call a person with a higher registration number or a number starting with a different digit than yours. The reason behind is that besides the order of appointments we must also frequently set an order of importance for emergency cases. Thank you for your understanding!
Due to the emergency state caused by the corona virus pandemic new procedural rules have been introduced in patient care.
