Male/female wards of THE Clinic can be visited on weekdays and weekends: 11 AM - 2 PM and 4 PM- 8 PM.
Visits to the ICU on weekdays and weekends: 12 AM - 2 PM and 4 PM- 8 PM.
Keeping personality rights in mind, visitors, even during posted visiting times, are requested to wait outside the ward or ICU if a patient is under acute treatment, is being examined or being administered certain treatments.
Every effort is made to inform patients about their discharge in advance and find out if they are able to leave for home on their own, or with a relative, or whether patient transportation is needed for them to go home. A discharged patient always receives a discharge summary, prescriptions for their medications, and a recommendation for medication or medical device, if needed. They also receive a certificate about their hospitalization, which is required for sick leave.
Daily routine of the ward: Rounds usually start at around 9 AM followed by examinations and treatments. The afternoon round is at about 3 PM when test reports are reviewed.
Relatives of inpatients are requested to make sure the patient has a sponge, toiletries, slippers, a spoon, fork, plastic cup, napkins, towel, paper tissue, toilet paper and wet wipes. Medications are provided for the patient from the pharmacy of the Clinic.
Since the clinics are also active educational institutes sometimes patients are asked to allow students to examine them. Thus they help future doctors gain hands on knowledge of diseases, and their treatment, while gaining practice in recognizing diseases.
