This Institute has about 60 beds for complex rehabilitation and curative activities. The suites have one, two or three beds, with an en-suite bathroom and air-conditioning.
A priority area of care is complex rehabilitation (involving several medical specialties) of children and adults after injuries and other conditions of the nervous system or after stroke. Another key area is rehabilitation of patients with cardiovascular diseases, obesity, musculoskeletal conditions, limb loss, and those in need of or already using prosthetic limbs.
Specialists, physiotherapists, psychologists, ergotherapists, speech therapists, social workers, dietitians, nurses, specialized assistants and volunteers--all help the recovery and rehabilitation process. Aftercare of inpatients is done at the outpatient specialist consultation every day of the week.
