Pediatric Clinic - Introduction to Core Functions

The Pediatric Clinic is the top institute of progressive care with regional and often country-wide responsibilities. Apart from high level patient care, the unit provides medical education and does medical research of international quality. Beyond general pediatric care several subspecialties, such as gastroenterology, nephrology, neurology, endocrinology, immunology and allergology, cardiology, hemato-oncology, pulmonology, clinical genetics, infectology are available in both outpatient and inpatient care.   

Our Neonatal Intensive Care Centre is located in the building of the Obstetrics Clinic and takes care of neonates and preterm babies in severe condition.

Our Pediatric Surgery ward acting as a regional centre is responsible for neonatal surgery, and treats urological and oncological problems and malformations.
